White Pine School superintendent Adam Young notified us Wednesday night (June 11) that Governor Lombardo has signed Assembly Bill 224. The video below explains why this bill is necessary.

Disgraceful.
The fact that we have county commissioners who refuse to acknowledge that we have two schools built before World War I still in active service and need to be replaced because the renovation costs would exceed the replacement costs, that is disgraceful.
The good news is that Assembly Bill 224 has passed out of committee with additional sponsors. That means we might be able to get the bonds with no additional cost to the citizens of White Pine County. And yet, Commissioner Dirt and Commissioner Sheep fail to understand the crisis. Watch this presentation video and realize the danger that opponents are putting our children -- our future-- in.
