Free Fishing Day - Comins Lake
June 8th 2024 is Free Fishing Day in Nevada! No fishing license is required for adults or children to fish any public water on this date. All limits and other regulations apply.
Join NDOW Angler Education Coordinators at Comins Lake from 8:00am - 10:00am to celebrate Free Fishing Day. Free fishing rods will be handed out to the first 50 anglers under 18! REGISTER KIDS HERE: https://www.register-ed.

Volunteer Guzzler Build
Join us near Ely, NV to build a 10,000 gallon guzzler to benefit elk and other big game species in the Schell Creek Range. The build site is located in the North Steptoe Chaining Area, just 8.2 miles from Ward Charcoal Ovens State Park (approximately 30 miles from Ely and 210 miles from Elko).
Come out for just the build day on June 29th, or camp with us the 28th - 30th. Meals will be provided at basecamp throughout the weekend. Elko Bighorns Unlimited will host a raffle after the build!
